In uncivilized countries like the USA I’ve had many things stolen from my porch, from my car, even an entire car.
I now choose to spend most of my time where I can leave my valuables unwatched in public and my house door unlocked. Living in fear and around crime, adds so much stress, anxiety, and general angst to your everyday life. Life is too short to live in a terrible place
When I started University, I used part of my small savings to buy a very nice bicycle so I could get around between uni districts.
When I moved into a shared student apartment, there was a locked bicycle room in the basement. Only resident keys would fit that lock. Nonetheless I still locked my bike separately.
The one day I forgot to do that, my bike was no longer there the next day. It pissed me off immensely because I couldn’t immediately afford a new one, and the theft really made me uncomfortable. Mostly the fact that it must have involved someone who lived in the same block.
In the United Kingdom, an annual World Nettle Eating Championship draws thousands of people to Dorset, where competitors attempt to eat as much of the raw plant as possible. Competitors are given 60 cm (24 in) stalks of the plant, from which they strip the leaves and eat them. Whoever strips and eats the most stinging nettle leaves in a fixed time is the winner. The competition dates back to 1986, when two neighbouring farmers attempted to settle a dispute about which had the worst infestation of nettles, and one of them said, “I’ll eat any nettle of yours that’s longer than mine.”
I am confused. Sudoflix is down since a week or two already. How is it still working for you? They had a successor that they named on their page, maybe you mean that one.
I've had this open in a tab for several weeks now. Just refreshed, checked new episodes of stuff that's come out in the last few days, no issues. I wasn't even aware there were mirrors/clones.
Losing fmovies wasn't the bad thing as there are dozens of clones. It's the hosting services that really took a hit. The reliable ones have been down for a while. The ones left buffer much slower and can't handle peak times as well. Those years with fmovies really felt like the golden age of piracy.
I would pay legit services. But to see it all i would need multiple services with multiple apps, half of which wouldn’t run on my rooted devices. So fuck them.
Sadly no. Not that i know. But once it’s setup it basically runs forever without tinkering. Impressive for open-source. Could name the software and/or services that are helpful.
The first paragraph hits so hard. “That show is with this service now, but only the last season. If you want to each watch all of them you’ll have to get three subscriptions”
Fuck off…
What’ll be the min spec for the setup? Can it be run from a pi 4, for example?
Silly argument, as i pay for internet too. Also 5 bucks are not even a fucking coffee. For that i get what i dreamt of when i was selling pirate-cds for hundreds of bucks.
Complicated answer. I love RTS games, grew up with command and conquer. At some point RTS games hit a peak and never quite got back there. In that time, turn-based strategy games continued to grow and evolve and innovate.
But they bore me to fucking tears. I prefer RTS games, but I just don’t play them anymore. None of my friends play them. I can’t get them into it either. So I play turn-based very occasionally.
Also Zero-K has held my attention a bit but it got old after awhile. I miss Westwood.
