I am a “two moving box guy”, priding myself on being able to fit my whole life into two moving boxes.
Then I had kids and married a fantastic women. Then you start acquiring all the things you need for a “grown up life” and you suddenly end up with weird shit like “a metal hole punch” because you needed it that one time.
And over the years you end up with a garage full of shit that might just be useful one day.
Some years ago my wife and I made an active effort to get rid of shit we didn’t have a purpose for today. If you live in a good neighbourhood chances are your neighbour will be happy to lend you a jig saw, or a metal hole punch, or disco lights or whatever you need.
Now, whenever we book an Airbnb it hits just like a jackhammer how much crap other people own that they clearly don’t need. Endless amount of water bottles etc.
The one I listen the most and for the longest is No such thing as a fish.
Other that that, Better Offline, Darknet diaries, Money Stuff, Search engine, a local politics one that I disagree with but I use to be aware of what my local conservative pseudo fascists are arguing about.
And not so regularly many others whenever there’s an interesting episode.
Came here to see if anyone else was plugging the other CZM podcasts. I’ve expanded out to Cool People (I especially like the anarchist book club stories) and It Could Happen Here.
I wouldn’t call myself an anarchist by any means, but I like how they get to both the root causes of issues and also give some ideas on things we can do to make some of these situations better. That last part is what I feel is missing from just about every other show about current events.
NPR Politics and NPR Morning Edition for general news.
The Sporkfull for cooking/food (Sohla and Ham are fantastic). Ologies for interesting science people talking about their passions. Nightmare on Film Street for horror movies talk.
Meditation Minis and Nothing Much Happens for bringing it down.
5-4, Strict Scrutiny, and What Roman Mars Can Learn About Con Law when I want to be mad/sad/frustrated with my country’s judicial system.
Behind the Bastards, Linux Lads, Linux Late Night, The Infinite Monkey Cage (when they do episodes), some spanish stuff for listening practice (mostly Hoy Hablamos), Hack-a-Day, Self-Hosted, and Cory Doctorow…
Good Morning! I just created this account after discovering Lemmy, then discovering your post. Last year I found an old list from a relative with ingredients they claimed make teeth actually regrow. I’ve been working with them personally for over a year, and they definitely do. First, hydrogen peroxide, it is a well known oral debridement agent, mix up 50/50 hydrogen peroxide/tap water, and aggressively swish it around your mouth for 30seconds to a minute. This will kill cavities and germs/bacteria. Be sure to always rinse with just tap water after words to clear any remaining hydrogen peroxide. The most important thing I’ve come across, a tooth with a cavity currently in it, will not heal. I have 3 teeth that had root canals previously and they regrow millimeters usually over night when I apply the mix. The cavities I’ve worked on need to die before the tooth heals usually leaving a big hole in the tooth, its not painful, but can be difficult to keep clean and cavities can regrow easily while healing so extra care has to be taken. Now for the Ingredients to regrow a tooth, they are all essential oils, THE MOST IMPORTANT PART OF USING THEM IS IF YOU ACCIDENTALLY EAT OR VAPE SUGAR WHILE THE ESSENTIAL OILS ARE STILL ACTIVE IT WILL CAUSE NEW CAVITIES! 8ml sweet almond oil 6ml Peppermint essential oil 6ml spearmint essential oil 6ml wintergreen extract 5ml clove extract oil 5ml grapefruit seed extract Mix them together, shake well, put a drop into a cavity, or on the remainder of a root canalled tooth and allow it to soak in, for an actual cavity you should feel the oils soaking into it, it is rather intense, but not anywhere near the pain of a cavity. I don’t feel much for teeth that were already rooted. Hydrogen peroxide neutralizes the essential oils but you must rinse aggressively enough the essential oils down in a cavity get rinsed out, I use a dental syringe I bought offline for hard to reach crevices, and sometimes I need to hold my head upside down to let the h2o2 soak into the cavity to neutralize the oils(otherwise cavity will get worse). Done correctly teeth heal, done half assed you will get new cavities, the thing to keep in mind, the mint should never be sweet, if it is, you need to rinse with hydrogen peroxide immediately.
Most ecig juice has sugar. Coffee flavors, and tobacco flavors do not have sugar in my experience.
Also your teeth need you to consume the right nutrients: Calcium, magnesium, zinc, kelp, vitamin d, and potassium all work together to help teeth and bones regrow and grow healthy.
If you don’t have cavities, you can just rinse your mouth with hydrogen peroxide instead of harsh alcohol based washes, and that will help long term with cavities and mouth health.
You can add additional mint essential oils, and it does improve the results, but the mints must be kept in proportion to the non mint oils, you should always have 16-18ml of mint for the other mixes despite if you have multiple strains of mint(there are many, and they all seem to work)
That’s any future app. And the kick in the nards is that the developer who allow it earn like $2 a day if lucky. So we all get burned on the ad hellscape having hours of time wasted for $2
