They told her go move the pot of water, so she complied. The murder was across the room, and only when lightly rebuked did he opt to pull his gun and charge toward her, shouting that he would “put a fucking bullet in her face.”
She immediately started apologizing and dropped to the ground. The murderer then fired 3 shots at her, with one piercing her face and throat.
Since the murderer illegally didn’t have his camera on, it’s hard to tell if the scared woman was holding the pot of water when she dropped to the ground in fear. It is easy to tell, thanks to his partner’s bodycam, that he was in no danger when she made a mild comment in her own home while committing no crimes, at which point she was brutally murdered.
Slow the video to .25x speed at 10:40 to see it in her hands, the open mouth facing towards him as she jumps up.
This doesn’t justify the shoot though! He was advancing on her with his gun drawn and screaming after she did everything he told her to do! Normal people are not trained on what to do when a butcher comes to your house and starts escalating the situation.
He wasn’t in fear for his life. He just wanted to murder someone.
Some of these people, thread OP included it sounds like, will not accept that the pigs are slave-catchers even if the lynch mob comes to their homes specifically. You’re burnin your breath with them, sis; and I pray you find a new measure of peace after watching that footage.
before ya go, 'lemmy' is a software package used by many, many different server-instances with their own moderation levels. its not a 'site' so much as an ecosystem.
for example, youve posted this to lemmy.ml, one of the most heavy handed of the instances with regards to moderation. you should try out other instances like lemmy.world or even other products that get you the same data with less moderation (https://moist.catsweat.com)
youve just dipped your foot in the pool, dont leave because of a few mosquitos
You were just given the correct answer but you are too butthurt to hear it. Lemmy isn’t a site. Lemmy isn’t run by a single corporate overlord with homogenous rules. Lemmy is just software and part of an ecosystem that is comprised of many different instances. What you are saying equates to “People reacted poorly to my tweet. Why is HTTP so toxic?!?”.
If you want a safer version of Lemmy, try Beehaw.org. If you want a bigger server that is closer to Reddit, try lemmy.world.
It’s a federation of servers with individual communities, so if a server/community is toxic stop participating in it and find or start an alternative. But most communities are tiny to small.
Eh, avoid “News” and “Politics” servers like lemmy.world - it’s really a US-centric community and you know how these are (the server in itself is fine, don’t get me wrong). Also, avoid the .ml community. Period.
If you like the character-plqy of GoT and don’t mind a smaller story (i.e. a single conflict rather than a world at war) then I think House of the Dragon is great. I know some are finding the pacing slow, but I’m really enjoying all the 2 or 3 character scenes where it’s all about the dialogue.
Edit: another I’ve not seen in the thread is “The Great”, which styles itself as “A sometimes true story”. A comedy drama based on Katherine the Great’s rise to power in 18th Century Russia - Huzzah! Written by the same writer that did the oscar winning “The Favourite”.
There’s some nice people here and reasoned discussion, but there is a dog pile mentality sometimes that’s way worse than reddit ever was. And it was bad enough.
i find tankies very funny they are a representation of the ouroborus they eat themselfs. de-federation is gay and should only be done with illegal shit other then that use the block button.
Godville is 24 MB, a zero player game where you create an adventurer who goes out and quests, collects loot and equipment, rests at town to sell things, tames a pet, joins a guild, etc. you can influence what they do, but they do it all automatically and you can just observe!
Impossible Dungeon is 35 MB, idle non turn based dungeon crawler with incremental upgrades, I really like it!
Not sure what you consider low MB, I couldn't find any more that I'd heavily recommend at 150 MB so I cut it off there
In some places they still make sense. In a place where one can be built relatively close to a number of well off suburbs, while being closer than more urban area commercial districts, malls are still doing alright. The hey day of malls being in every suburb is dead though.
