There is nowhere near enough quality control or moderation of what’s posted on TPB. Yeah it’s absolutely got more content and even seeders than elsewhere, but you’re really rolling the dice.
This is good to know and could be something I’d use a lot, but it isn’t working. Every Reddit address I try it on, the reply is “Nothing here. Head back home?”
Does the page need to be pre-prepared, like a web.archive.org address?
I think that should be it. I left out some less important ones and probably forgot a few that I don’t use that often. All these services are spread across 2 servers at home and a small VPS mainly used for the mailserver and Uptime Kuma.
It really depends on the type of IP you have and your location, but it’s really not much for me. From Honeygain I get like 20 bucks every 6 months and when paying out the money around 4$ get lost by transaction fees, but better than nothing and those services use so few resources, you don’t even notice them running in the background.
Which websites are you referring to? I never noticed any problems from the sites I use. Only when I encounter any kind of captcha I always have to manually select images and it will never solve itself like some did in the past. But not sure if thats due to me not being logged in with Google in my main browser or if it’s caused by Honeygain.
I use my Oracle free tier for Tor Snowflake. It was a service I didn’t really want to run myself and not something I ever need to connect to so if Oracle suddenly shuts down my server for any reason then it’s no loss for me. In the meantime it provides value for people in countries with harsh internet censorship, so I’m happy to just set it up and leave it.
I’m really into these machines, particularly Anbernic and Retroid. I’m already in the linked group and on the Retro Handhelds Discord. Hoping to see content here!
I’ve got the Galaxy S22 standard and I like it quite a bit. I’ve used the Galaxy series primarily since 2012 and my most recent was the S20. It was definitely an upgrade in terms of camera quality, which is one of the main reason I got it. I can take so many more pictures now, but never do. So that says a lot about me :)
I usually go 2-5 years between phones, so this one was quicker than some I’ve held onto. I don’t have any other Android devices and have only once before owned a Macbook Pro (2015 Core 2 Duo, I believe).
