I dunno, opening the package to see that it’s a dildo might give some peace of mind that they won’t be using the produce.
Now I’m wondering what would be an appropriate age to have that awkward “It’s ok if you want to play, it’s just much safer and more sanitary to use toys meant for the purpose rather than improvising with anything that is the right shape” conversation.
The best story I ever heard about this was a single dad who had to take his teenage daughter to the doctor because she got an infection from inserting a toothbrush handle or something else that wasn’t sanitary, and instead of giving her ANY kind of scolding or negative judgement, he was very loving and helped her laugh it off, and then he just left on her pillow a $100 gift card to Adam & Eve or some other large, commercial, adult site that lets you buy gift cards.
I don’t think it’s appropriate to even suggest an age here, but I think as a parent you will know when it’s time to have the talk/leave the card.
I know nothing about fencing, but I’m 6’6" and I agree with the general point that people overstress the benefits of height and undersell (or underestimate) the disadvantages. That could be in sport, or life generally tbh.
Big waste of time. Spent too much time troubleshooting to get it working on my laptop before I just said "fuck it" and installed Windows. There was way too much software compatibility issues and I was spending more time troubleshooting than I was studying. I’m sure Linux can work for some students but for me and the field I majored in, Linux is no bueno.
Thanks for the correction. I was definitely out of date, what I said was only true during the USB 3 era.
So this is an optional part of the USB 4 spec, but from what I can tell this is required for PCs shipping with Windows 11 and USB 4 ports. Yes, this seems like more manufactured confusion courtesy of USB IF.
Functionally speaking the distinction is negligible. Users won’t be able to download patches from the site, and new patch submissions won’t be accepted.
People also used RHDN as a news source to find out about new hacks and translation releases, and it was the best resource for doing that. And it sounds like it still will be going forward, so... I disagree with you on that.
