When it comes to commits, single feature / scoped commits are quality. So this git history is actually underwhelming if the author is full time. This is a good read.
That article also mentions squashing merges though, which would lower the contribution count by a lot unless there’s a GitHub setting to have separate branch commits tracked that I’m missing out on.
Usually just a small amount of food is enough, but your pharmacist should talk to you the first time you fill the prescription and tell you if more is necessary
I’m not a doctor, so don’t take my word for it, but I’ve heard the same as robolemmy. To be a bit less abstract, my understanding is you eat enough so that your stomach will digest normally instead of just handling the medicine as a tiny bit of something caustic. A granola bar should be fine, but you might do better with a slice of bread or something a tad easier to digest. Then again, I don’t think it matters all that much.
Nah, that’s all about getting the dog to actually swallow the pill.
For us, it is about buffering the concentration. Even aspirin can upset your stomach (well, SOME people’s stomachs) such that making “Bufferin” was once a big deal. It was just aspirin with a buffering agent, but having a buffer really mattered for some people.
The pharmacist did say that it was to reduce the queasiness since both the antibiotic and the steroid I was prescribed are apparently quite rough on the stomach, so I have to take the pills with food, which I inferred to mean as a meal. Which was fine when I took them with lunch and dinner yesterday since obviously that’s gonna be tons of food to go with it, but then it came to this morning, and I don’t normally eat breakfast. I wasn’t sure if something simple like toast or a granola bar which I would take with the morning dose would be enough food to counteract it, since obviously I didn’t want to spend my morning with a miserable stomach.
If you go to lemmy.world on a browser you can hide accounts that have flagged themselves as bots
I have bot accounts hidden because during the Reddit Exodus there was so many bots posting content form reddit to ideally drive engagement and discussion but no one commented so they just felt spammy to me
Hopefully this makes sense I had to stop mid sentence to do something and I’m too tired to proof read
Whenever I have got a big lump sum of money I get worried, I have put it into my savings account to not accidentaly spend the money untill I know it is mine, just incase it was given by mistake.
So let’s say that I had mined 12BTC right when bitcoin was started.
That would be worth 765702 Euros today…
I’d probably sell it off in peices, which would probably lower the value since I am flooding the market in a relatively short ammount of time.
Then I’d have to report my profits to the tax man, and since I didn’t buy the BTC I’d have to check with them how exactly to report it, if it is anything like stocks where you don’t know the purchase price, I’d have to pay 30% tax on 80% of the total ammount sold.
So for simplicity lets say that I managed to get 700 000 Euro for my 12BTC, I would need to pay tax on 560 000 Euro, meaning I would pay 168 000 Euro, giving me 532 000 Euro to play with.
Untill I got the all clear from the tax office, I would not touch the money.
I’d put 400 000 Euro into my retirenment right away, and use 80 000 Euro to try my luck at investing in lobg term funds.
I’d then have 56 000 Euro as fun money…
Most of it would just stay in my savings account, increasing my buffer, but I would spend part of it on a new camera and lenses, new monitors for my home computer and a new Ducky keyboard.
Based on your previous shows: fallout, shogun and the boys are current.
Fallout - incredible S1 for the video game ip. Hilarious, visually stunning, flavorful
Shogun - game of thrones in japan
The boys - civilians take their city back from super powered heros
Ted lasso [ended] - amazing show about people, likely one of the best of this decade. A meme American football coach from the Midwest moved to the UK to teach a top tier UK futbol league.
Silicon valley [ended] - a tech startup in silicon valley on HBO constantly overcoming challenges with their revolutionary IP.
Avatar the last Airbender [ended] - best of the 2000s, unique flavorful. There is no live action in ba sing se, cartoon only
Disenchantment [ended] - Futurama but medieval magic
One piece live action - another great first showing for anime cross over, skips a lot of the filler and is executed well
This libertarian redneck does! I also like taxing the ever loving fuck outta billionaires so they can’t mess with muh freedums. I also absolutely love this bit because a) it’s 100%FAX and b) my neighbor across the cul-de-sac actually did get caught breeding illegal reptiles.
I’m pretty “basic” in my choices. Both Zelda titles, Mario 64, Mario Kart, the three Mario Parties, StarFox 64, Diddy Kong Racing, Kirby 64, Banjo-Kazooie. I just bought an N64 a few weeks ago partially because I wanted to experience the games I had growing up again and also play a bunch I missed. I tried Mischief Makers because it looked interesting and I enjoy the unique mechanics but the controls are hard to master enough to feel like I even have a basic handle on them.
