Finally getting around to playing the halo infinite campaign. Fingers crossed it’s okay for an old geezer who’s been playing since the original Xbox release.
I’m in the same boat. Sync was my go to Reddit client and will most likely be my go to Lemmy client. For now though I don’t mind Connect and it’s Canadian so gotta support the fellow Cannuck lol
I remember in the late 90s or so a car came out with an all digital instrument cluster. It made the news when they would completely fail, leaving people to not know anything about their speed or anything else about their car.
A speedometer is more reliable and easy to read. Even so, several cars have them. Some even project your speed in the windshield as part of a heads up display.
I used my Pixel 5 as a mobile recording rig. Plugged in my audio interface via USB-C (which powered it as well), two wireless XLR receivers and used the app n-track to record an interview with an astronaut at an ESA event (lav mic on myself and the astronaut).
In that moment, I felt like a pro.

An alternate answer to “trust fund baby.” My job covered half of the costs for me and my family to work from an office in another country. The half we covered was still expensive, but we managed to cover our part without dipping much into savings. We couldn’t have done it without my employer covering some of it.
I felt so many emotions simultaneously when I first saw this. It motivated me right down to the final mission. Up to today this is one of my pivotal gaming moments.
The Barrens chat used to be this weird wonderful mix of helpful, toxic, and just strange.
I even had the T-shirt "I survived the barrens chat". I might still have it in a drawer somewhere. If so, it vastly outlived my interest in playing WoW.
You made it clear that you weren’t interested anymore. Their unanswered “are you really really sure?” message doesn’t entitle them to your money. I’d get in touch with support about refunding and (if your schedule allows) set a secondary objective to cost them at least double what you paid in support staff wages.
