Does anyone know a decent site like Soap
Soap2day shut down today and they were the best organized streaming piracy site I’ve found so I was hoping someone had a similar one.

Ice floating and cooling the upper part of a drink should start a natural convection type cycle which cools the whole drink. If the ice sank, you'd have a very warm surface layer. Never thought about this with focus before 😅
Edit: YOOOOOOOO YOU CAN EDIT TITLES HERE...
My plan is to buy an NVMe today, install linux as a dual boot, but use linux as a daily driver, to see if it meets my needs before committing to it....
Hi there, I was looking for combinations of switching hardware and open source switching software. Stratum and Cumulus Linux caught my attention, but these seem to be focussed towards the industry and would likely be very difficult to run in a homelab. I’m not going to touch the likes of Ubiquity, but as of now the only choice...

I’m looking to buy a new GPU. My main use case will be training and running neural nets (tensorflow+pytorch); gaming isn’t really a priority....
I joined OPS via a recruitment some time back, but I really don’t need this tracker much I don’t think....
Definitely not the right place for this, but I’m yet to find the right place. I need an SSD/HDD that can store about 10 years worth of family photo and video. I was looking at that Samsung rugged SSD, but it’s a little above my price range right now. I’e like to have at least a terabyte for future photos so I don’t have...
I’ve been blocking communities on all that I don’t find interesting. If I want to unblock them later, is there a way to do that?
Just curious if one central site is used nowadays
I generally use the following:...

I was wondering how the pre-reddit lemmy members feel about the influx of ex-reddit. Have things got worst or better? Is there any lemmy etiquette that we are missing?
I don’t really like Windows but it’s for my gaming PC. My laptop does run linux. I don’t know much of anything about 11 and whether it’s better or not.

If you are usually a reddit lurker and are on here, it would be cool if you can try and engage with communities for a bit, just to try and get the ball rolling :)
Exactly what the title says. I’m wondering if ScreamAPI is safe because I got a few games on the Epic Games store and don’t want to pay stupid amounts of money for all the DLC.
Either in a client (I’ve been using Jeroba) or in my Lemmy profile. I’d love to be able to block words I don’t want to see stuff about… Like trying to avoid spoilers for movies, or just wanting to avoid mentions of certain people, but without blocking entire communities.
Doesn’t matter how minor or unimpressive....
