So how do I decommission a Lemmy instance properly?
While it was an interesting and sometimes confusing experience setting up and running my own Lemmy instance (looking at you, 20 character limit on federation URL), I think it's not worth it....

It seems like rumours and suspicions have solidified today. So I was genuinely interested to see who was presenting the 10 o’clock news this evening – and how the current BBC-related story was covered.
What a time to be alive.

So I’m in the process of moving my discord server over to matrix. I rented a VPS with 2 cores/2gb of ram for this. What I’m having issues with is media store and federation. I believe I have the media_store configured corrected as I can post images in my own channels, however I get Error 500 while attempting to upload a...

Hello fellow lemmings! Fedora KDE user here, and quite happy about it, it didn’t break a single time and packages are up to date. The only thing that bother me is DNF’s speed… a single search may take up to 5 seconds, and if I’m dependency-hunting I may need several searches, summing up the delays. I’m asking if...

I propose relocating most issue discussions from GitHub to lemmy.ml/c/feature_requests to optimize developer time and foster increased user engagement and collaboration. This transition would allow developers to focus on critical tasks while leveraging the voting system on Lemmy to sort comments and identify the most valuable...
