zsh or fish for an intermediate Linux user?
So I’ve been using Linux now for a while, and am looking to migrate my dev environment to vim and spend more time in the command line. I’m fairly comfortable with bash but by no means an expert. I’ve used zsh with some minor customization but just recently learned about fish. I’d love to hear people’s opinions.

Any amusing anecdotes to share with that person?
The reason the internet can hook us more than a book is that the internet responds to us. If we get tired, we can dumb down our surfing, but dumbing down what you're reading is harder.
Dumbing down doesn’t mean “philosophy versus Call of Duty”. It just means what’s intuitive versus what takes conscious effort. Heck, Call of Duty could demand conscious effort.

I have heard this mentioned several times with this exact wording, that faster than light travel would break/violate causality and I do not exactly understand why and how it would do that. You're lying down, trying to sleep. Some part of your body is itchy, scratching will wake you up, not scratching will remain itchy. Do you scratch or wait for the itch to go away?
I have this issue often. I know if I scratch, it will wake me up and take longer to sleep because of my body movement. If I don’t scratch, my mind only focuses on the itch. Sometimes I’ll wait 5 minutes for the scratch to go away and then I just cave and start scratching any minor itch I have on my body. Has anyone just not...
