Potentialy dumb question here, is there any benefit to using btrfs on a non system disk? I’m fairly ignorant on file systems, asfaik btrfs largest benefit is snapshotting, not sure of anyothers.

I’ve really been memorized by deepin, but I feed into the fear of the actual distro and China blah blah. I honestly dont know, but figure better safe than sorry. So I’ve tried Ubuntu DDE and it look like ass… Maybe they’ve update it since. I tried installing it on my fedora 38 workstation and it didn’t play well....

Somewhat for privacy issues but also to have more control over my system and to reduce the amound of advertising that windows keeps cramming in my face. Specifically I’m looking at Zorin. I was wondering what thoughs people here had on it....
