I've been trying to create communities and posts in my natural language which is not English, but I'm afraid of doing it because the majority of this instance is English (although it has 'world' in the name).

I seem to hear from a variety of people that they struggle to fall asleep at night; but the difficult to fall asleep sounds like an evolutionary downside. Even as hunter-gatherers, being able to sleep whenever and wherever sounds like it would be an advantage....

No one really knows how things will play out but I was wondering if people are committed to Lemmy, or would the mod team migrate to greener pastures if a better, more functional alternative comes to the forefront....

I have tried to learn Linux for ages, and have experimented with installing Arch and Ubuntu. Usually something goes wrong when I try to set up a desktop environment after installing Arch in VirtualBox. KDE gave me a problem where I couldn’t log in after getting to the point where my username was displayed in a similar format...
