Hey, I have a small problem when it comes to movies. A lot of people around me(like family members) do not know english, and are either bad with subtitles or outright cannot keep up with them. Generally though, it is either hard or impossible to pirate high-quality movies with the dub of my language....

I’ve been backing up to a dedicated hard disk within the same server for all my backups in case my disks fail. And as I run more and more services, the concern of disks failures grow bigger....

I have not been able to find an extensive collection of RPGs since the Trove shut down. I know there is a torrent backup somewhere but i do not want to mess with that currently. The Eye has some stuff, but it is very limited and the usual Ebook sites also only have a small and very random selection.

My instance has downvoting enabled, but I’ve learned that some other instances do not. Do the vote totals look different to users on different instances? It seems like some users on instances that don’t allow downvoting are unaware that it’s not the same lemmy-wide. It would be pretty confusing for them to see their vote...
