I’ve never had so much fun self-hosting. A decade or so ago I was hosting things on Linode and running all kinds of servers for myself but with the rise of cloud services, I favored just giving everything to Google. I noticed how popular this community was on Reddit/Lemmy and now it’s my new addiction....

Fairphone 4 In the US

Does anyone have experience using the Fairphone 4 in the US? What carrier do you use? I’m thinking about getting one, however I use Verizon and I think I might have to switch to something else.

I’m trying not to suck up too much Reddit but IAF content is hard to source without a large community. It’s the diamonds in the rough that make IAF special. Should I dig into the archives once every couple days when it’s dry to keep the content rolling or let it be?

I have an FT-891 and I noticed I have to jack my mic gain way up to get any output on the radio. I am considering a Heil headset.
