Where are some good sites to look for artbooks, particularly those based around video games? I find it hard to come across them in other book, comic or manga archives
Nothing agains this place, but it is VERY cumbersome to get going. Squabbles seems super responsive and intuitive. I’ll be using both!
This has been the year(s?) of absolutely craptastic releases. I’ve been incredibly busy in college for quite a while, only half-assedly following most of them, but following them close enough to see just about everyone gripe about the terrible state of polish things are being released in for both consoles and PC....
Especially if they’re made in an engine that has been previously optimised, for example....
I’m trying to build a good quality collection of Disney 2000’s / 2010’s shows and it seems like the best source for that is Disney+. Only problem is I have no idea on how to WEB-DL, so if anyone could help with that I’d appreciate it.
As much as there is plenty of new people joining the threadiverse, the real wave starts today, with thousands of subreddits going dark....
The death of Reddit shall bring the life of Lemmy.tf...
thanks
I’ve only been to Super Potato so far. I remember that when I posted some pictures in the old retrogaming subreddit from my visit, quite a few people said that SP is overpriced and for tourists....
I’ve been sailing the browser seas for a decade and remember ace stream and some other VLC like streams where you would just plug the URL in and get INCREDIBLE quality streams full HD 60fps it was heaven … now all the streams I get are low bitrate 30 fps 720 at very best. Can anyone point me back in the right direction I’m...
I bought the game on a whim for the switch, but I feel ill prepared. I don’t usually play heavy action games like this and I hear it’s especially hard for what it is. But I want to try.
"Upgrades for my Tuscan include extended car alarm and an “anti-theft” decal…Hyundai will do anything except fix the actual issue. Already reports of vehicles being stolen, even after “ignition kill” switches were installed....
Has anyone seen a replacement community for r/trackers? I guess this could sort of be it as well since they are related subreddits…
Wanted to plant a speed for Bristol peoples to start a community on lemmy. lemmy.world/c/bristolTbh I’m not interested in being a mod so please hit me up if you are!
I’ve created a Nine Inch Nails community at !nin, as r/nin was one of my favourite subreddits.
I love oldschool FPS’s, but somehow the whole boomer shooter resurgence just passed me by. I just finished Boltgun on the hardest difficulty and had a great time, would love to hear some other suggestions
I’m thinking we should have a central post for all the book sublemmys so we can easily find them. The ones I’m aware of are:...
Hi lummy community, i’m one of those who came from reddit. For now i’m still learning the new UI/lemmy philosophy. on reddit there was some sub that i was using a lot like SBCGaming, AYN odin, miyoomini, well you get the kind of stuff, principaly retro handeld stuff. Now that i want to use lummy i was wondering if there...
I’m playing around with my own instance of Lemmy but I keep getting a “websocket connection failed” error in my console. I’m having a really hard time understanding how to set up nginx for websockets - I’m more used to Apache and not familiar with WS at all. Is there documentation hiding somewhere that will help me set...
I’m about 70% through the second Jurassic Park book and it’s ok. People on /r/books seemed to think it was even better than the first, but it feels like a slog compared to the first. I’m looking forward to moving on to Stephen King’s The Stand.
People reacted positively and a decent amount of interest was shown, if you see this post and find yourself interested too… I’ve made it:...
I am very much neutral-good with lawful tendencies and therefore feel Leela represents me the most.
