Hey, I use a Macbook 2020 i5. I installed fedora on it. But my tochpad and keyboard are not working.

I was with smarty network for a while but the signal was weak in the building so I got an eSIM from Lyca as they use EE which I’ve heard is much better with signal....

I didn’t really notice till now, and searching around I see lots of complaints in various communities for different apps....

whenever I post or talk to people on an online forum or something like that, they think that I’m a child or “chid-llike” q.q That is fake!! I’m not a child because I am 20 years old ok!! But it’s ok if they think that, I think it’s something disrespectful >.

Lemmit online is a lemmy instance that mirrors content from some subs from reddit. It seems to be federated and not blocked but when you subscribe to any of its community, you don’t get any new posts in your feed. Any clue about why?

about mastodon. i love centralized social networks because you can search for any post, regardless of the date of its creation, any person, any community. in mastodon, however, this does not work....

New Battle.net update Version 14542 breaks Linux compatibility with Wine/Proton via Lutris or Steam and will only display a gray screen....

They could have easily crammed the Steam Deck full of stuff to make it hard to use for piracy - locking down everything, making it usable only to play games you legitimately own, force you to go through who knows what hoops in order to play games on it. That’s what Nintendo or Apple or most other companies do....

As Lemmy starts maturing, there starts being so many communities out there that it’s pretty hard to keep track. I’ve been browsing for about a month now, here’s a list of popular communities I’ve subscribed to that others would find interesting!...

And a bit of a follow up question because I want to complain a bit, why does it feel like most movie recommendation websites suck?

I’m in my 20’s and I consider myself a complete ignorant, in the sense that whenever I make a decision I always think “What would the future me do if I had more experience/knowledge?”...

For example, English speakers commonly mix up your/you’re or there/their/they’re. I’m curious about similar mistakes in other languages.

I currently use Fedora Kinoite and until Plasma 6 some major bugs will simply not be fixed. “Solved in Plasma 6” is a very common phrase now and that is okay....
