I don’t see why the same reasoning cannot be applied to Russia, given this is how US got itself out of the great depression during WW2.

lol is it like an entire server dedicated to trolling?

Right, it’s basically the lowest common denominator. I’d also argue that this phenomenon is present without AI as well. People often copy or remix existing works, in many cases without even consciously realizing it. AI just speeds up the process if anything.

And if it wasn’t AI then it’d be some other insanity like NFTs, the real problem is absolutely the capitalist system that allocates resources in absurd ways.

Find a topic that you have interest in and master it. This will only get harder as you get older.

The sheer ignorance displayed by these dimwits is truly astounding, as they fail to grasp the profound extent to which their economies are dependent on China in reality. It’s akin to a pampered house cat that believes it reigns supreme within its domain, oblivious to the fact that its sustenance originates from elsewhere entirely.

I think some articles now just have hard paywalls so the content isn’t available without paying at all

Most people don’t understand the real cost of software development, because the price of apps creates skewed expectations. In practice, software companies employ a business model that amortizes costs over time, making the true investment less obvious to users. The apparent simplicity of well-designed apps can also mislead users about the complexity involved. So, if somebody sees an app that costs a dollar they might assume that the cost of developing the app might be a few hundred dollars, while in practices it can be hundreds of thousands.

That’s sort of what Bancor is, in programming terms you can think of it as a common protocol that you can adapt your currency to, and then it can be used with anybody who’s also implementing this protocol.

I think the interesting part with the Bancor approach is that it would avoid a lot of these problems since it’s strictly a settlement currency.
