Sega "Gold Cartridge" in Master System

Hi, I’m looking for info on the compatibility of the “Gold Cartridge” with regards to the Master System. I was looking at one of these and it says on the box that it’s made for the Mark III and Master System. The Japanese master system and mark III use a different size cart. You need an adapter (not sure if they are available).

I have these and wrap black electrical tape around the blue bit. Works great.
