This screams of desperation to me. Twitter never needed to make any kind of deals with celebrities before to get them on the platform. This feels like Kick throwing money at people to get them to come over from Twitch. They’re trying to lure over Instagram type folks, probably to keep them off Threads.

Genshin Impact is good, and Honkai Star Rail, is sadly empty of things to go even though I like the gameplay better. There are some really good Chinese games out there, but they’re mostly on mobile and PC because the Chinese government wouldn’t allow consoles for so long, so gaming in China developed in a way that’s incompatible with how a lot of western gamers play.

Also, I’m never gonna forgive China for how dirty they did Red Candle Game’s Devotion. Or GOG for backtracking on carrying it because CDP didn’t want to risk Cyberpunk not being sold in China, and giving a complete bs excuse for why.

I imagine you'll still need to use iTunes to have any chance of doing something basic like copying files off or on to it.

And you’d be wrong, going by how it’s done on iPad. The Files app lets you copy files directly to USB, and the few times I’ve used Files on my phone, it seems identical. You can also copy files to iCloud or any other cloud service like Google Drive, OneDrive, or Dropbox from Files, or use Airdrop.

I know it’s cool to hate on Apple, but at least be up to date about hating. You haven’t needed to use iTunes to move files in years.
