I wonder how many fires have been started because people left the pizza box in the oven while trying to keep it warm

I’ve seen a few people put their delivered pizza in the oven after everyone grabs a piece to keep it warm. I’ve also seen a lot of those people forget the pizza is in there and either have to throw it out or only noticed after they preheated their oven.

Convection oven works great as well I’ve found. About 10 minutes at 375 and they’re perfect, points if you use parchment lined baking sheet for less cleanup.

What are some commonly known facts that are too bizarre for you to believe to be true?

For me it is the fact that our blood contains iron. I earlier used to believe the word stood for some ‘organic element’ since I couldn’t accept we had metal flowing through our supposed carbon-based bodies, till I realized that is where the taste and smell of blood comes from.

There are also iron “fish”, or fish shaped blocks of iron, that can be used while cooking which do the same thing!

That’s what happens when you hire degrees and don’t test for experience. I’ve got friends going to school for compsci degrees getting primed for 6 figure careers jumping into my DMs to ask ME networking and programming questions. I never went to college and can’t even get an interview for entry level help desk.
