It’s the same shit as with smartphones. “If people wanted a headphone jack/removable battery/SD slot/whatever then why are they still buying smartphones?” BECAUSE THERE ARE NO OPTIONS THAT HAVE WHAT THEY WANT. I haven’t bought a phone since 2017 and I won’t until forced into it by circumstances. We literally can’t vote with our wallets because what we want isn’t on the ballot.

Yeah that was pretty much my thoughts on it. He’s already done all the damage he’s going to do to Biden’s rep. Beyond that they don’t lose anything by letting him face consequences. Which didn’t seem too severe for the crime he was charged with from what I read. It’s not really comparable to the situation with Trump considering Trump is the front-runner for the republicans. Not that I think either of them should get off just saying this is kind of a stupid thing to grandstand over.

Ford and Hyundai have tried to bring service to that market with the Maverick and Santa Cruz

They didn’t try very hard. The Maverick doesn’t have a single cab or full size bed option and the santa cruz looks like a SUV with 1/4 of the back chopped off.

Here’s a comparison of a 2008 Ranger vs. a 2022 Maverick to show what I mean better. They’re roughly the same size but you lose so much with the Maverick.

If that happened I’d buy one. A truck would make a lot of sense for me but I hate the ones that are available so much I couldn’t stomach buying one. I just make due with my old civic and borrowing my dads colorado when I need to move big stuff.

Of the things I listed:

Job - I’m always on the look out for better options, so far nothing has come up that pays more and I’m already not making enough to do the things I want to do.

Cleaning - Already said I have gamified it to get some enjoyment out of it in the past but I don’t see any more room for improvement there.

Traffic - I can leave work early to beat rush hour sometimes but that that only helps a little.

Grocery store - I’ve tried going to different ones but it’s more or less the same issues at all of the ones I’ve tried. I’ve figured out which days are usually less busy but it still sucks.

Working out - I vary my routines to not get too boring but it’s still more or less the same stuff over and over again. It was fun when I was making gains but now my physique is where I want it to be so it’s just maintenance.

Cooking- can try making new stuff but that just takes longer and comes with the risk of waste if I mess it up or don’t like it. Also sharing a kitchen with housemates that tend to pack all the freezer space with garbage they buy from costco.

Free time - I guess I could stay up later but then I’ll feel like shit all day the next day.

I’m open to suggestions but you’re acting like I don’t think about this shit constantly.

IMO the criteria should be if you are too dangerous to own a gun you are too dangerous to be free in society. You should be locked in whatever institution is most appropriate for your particular situation until it is resolved.
