#Disabled and suffering #abuse #neglect. Food withheld, basic needs ignored.

If you can offer a room &/or be a #carer please help. Ask everyone you know. Boost until someone sees.

Times are tough and we can help each other get through them.

Can pay carer allowance (not means tested, about 75$ week) carer allowance (up to about $500 a week.). Can go halves in rent too, depending on your needs. If you have your own place - even better. Make some extra money from that spare room by helping someone who can really use it.

I have some savings so can begin paying rent/ board right away.

Don’t give up on me I can’t survive here. If you need info or have any questions just ask.

People help is also more than welcome - I need a place to stay, an advocate, social worker etc too. There are barely any resources allocated to my catchment area so I’m pretty much on my own. Have been trying almost 2 years to get an advocate!

Albanese’s Escaping Violence package shows no signs of including the #disabled and people with #ChronicIllness so we’re still on our own. Yes the government forgot to ‘forgot’ to include us. Current DV and family violence services won’t help us. I’ve tried them all.

Ask questions if you’re interested or need clarification. I’ve posted a lot too.

Can people PLEASE help me contact #churches/ #priests/places of worship/ community groups & ask if they can help me find somewhere to live? If one can’t then they are affiliated with others that might and can ask people in their congregation. Put a plea on their message board irl or Facebook/ whatever online presence they have.

I am living with abuse /neglect and can’t do this anymore.

You don’t have to be in #Australia. Search for help in #Melbourne area. Search the #fediverse. Anywhere.

Ask your place of #worship if you have one.🙏

None of the #DV orgs I‘ve been referred to help people with #ChronicIllness or #disability
(Orange Door, Safe Steps I’ve tried them all.)

I’m fleeing #abuse and #neglect Denied basic needs for years.

If anyone wants to take me in & be my #carer you’re welcome to help.
I am #disabled but you really just need to do basics around a normal day. Bring me some food. Throw on some laundry.

It would include carer allowance (not means tested, about 75$ week) carer allowance (up to about $500 a week if you aren’t working, or possibly less depending on how much you work.) We could go halves in rent or some other arrangement depending on your living circumstances. If you’ve got your own #home, even better.

I have some emergency savings to get going. Can sort something out.

Might even consider moving states. Nobody here been keen to help so far.

The agencies and orgs don’t help disabled people. Tried them all. It’s been years.

Do these cooler type things work at all? I have to survive another upcoming #heatwave and can’t regulate my body temperature (#dysautonomia) so am risking #heatstroke again. I’m still recovering from last week so do not want.

Refused meds by GP who promised to prescribe until I found a new GP (he dropped me because my case is too complex). Changed his mind! Now have 13 days to find any doctor to write a script or #withdrawal agony for me & no #pain control.

Time running out fast!😫
