Vinegar , (edited ) to linux in What's your current favorite distro that isn't Arch, Debian or Fedora?

DietPi! It's one the most resource efficient distros that is easy to set up. It's ideal for single board computers and virtual machines, so I use it as a low-overhead Docker host on my Raspberry Pis. The dietpi-software tool installs optimized versions of most software you might use for SBC projects, but if it doesn't have what you're looking for, you can also use APT to install packages from the Debian ARM/ Raspbian repos.

NOTES ON TRUMPSPACE: Politics, Aesthetics, and the Fantasy of Home by David Marcus 2023

Trumpspace "argues that the fascination and horror Trump has provoked is owing in part to the way he lays bare the obsession with status, self-branding, and achievement-at-any-cost that has been part and parcel of the broader neoliberal ethos. Finally, it analyzes the January 6, 2021 storming of the US Capitol through the lens of spatio-political theorizations of settler colonial power and conceptions of home and homeland."

Illogicalbit , (edited ) to technology in Google might breathe new life into old Chromebooks with ChromeOS Flex

I’ve installed this on an old Chromebook already and it does work. You have to dig around for it a bit online but it has been available publicly for a while.

However , surprise, if it’s an old Chromebook you’re going to have to remove the internal write protect screw or use a Susie-q cable to make it the primary operating system on the device as they never intended for you to overwrite the existing os.

You can boot from usb or dual boot though.

Edit: plug for this awesome site that lets you update bios on chromebooks : mrchromebox.tech/
