He is right tho (not on bitcoin), Central Bank Digital Currencies (CBDC), which are cryptocurrencies, are going to be very important in the next decades. China-HongKong-Taiwan are already using CBDCs to make payments between them, for a long time these transactions have been filled with inefficiencies and mediators because of the use of the dollar.

Dedollarization is a process that has been developing for quite some time, it is still years away from having qualitative impacts but it is happening nonetheless. This is not suddenly going to happen tomorrow, the dollar is not going to “catastrophically collapse” 😂 thats a pretty funny statement.

They are winning the war tho, they’ve been destroying Ukraine military capabilities, creating buffer zones between russia - ukraine and even developing economic alliances with the rest of the world through BRICS. Meanwhile Ukraine economy gets worse by the day, same for Europe.

Venezuela has a legitimate reason to complain about the US, they are under economic sanctions imposed by them that directly impact their ability to develop and fucking kill people. This is not “one or the another” situation, communism is the next qualitative stage in development of society. It solves the primary contradiction that we experience in capitalism, that is socialized production being privatized by individuals, aka capitalists.

You can’t just declare communism by signing a document, because it is a process of development in which small quantitative changes in production (socialism) lead to a qualitative change (communism), thus to achieve the communism stage you have to achieve a certain level of development.

This is why China is considered a communist country by marxists-leninist even though qualitatively it is a capitalist country. They are actively working to develop communism, this can be clearly seen throughout their rhetoric (i.e. “The Governance of China”) and their material results.
