I don’t think I made any claim like that. I’m saying the Palestinian side has rejected all proposals - rightly or otherwise. Multiple wars have been lost, and they have no leverage other than terror. If they want peace, they have to choose it.

Honestly, I think the situation is so beyond toxic and arguing right or wrong is pointless. If the Palestinians had the power to enforce their will, they would. I don’t expect anything else from Israel.

For me the difference is using cluster munitions in defense of your country. It’s not by choice, it’s by necessity. Like most nuclear powers will use nuclear weapons in existential defense. Rightfully in my opinion.

I used NixOS for a couple of years. My experience is like this:

  1. It is a rolling release (mostly)
  2. You write a declarative configuration for your system, e.g., my config will say I want Neovim with certain plugins, and I can also include my Neovim configuration
  3. It is stable, and when it breaks it is easy to go back
  4. Packages are mostly bleeding edge
