Arizona had recreational weed available 3 years prior to this shooting. Not much weed is likely smuggled there. I’m no expert though, maybe bringing into legal states is less risky and then moving it to other states.

The US should focus on defunding them and any local support but by no means should the US do anything on Mexicos soil. Legalizing and regulating drugs locally would cut a lot of their funding I imagine. Long term it would also probably help the immigration numbers as well. Especially is we placed tariffs that enticed companies to not ship products from China but rather if they must use labor elsewhere to make it more profitable to move their manufacturing from China to Mexico/South America. It would help the regions and decrease shipping distance cutting back on environmental impacts.

Evidence of multiple rapes exist. While I understand you may have a set number that you consider mass rape (I don’t know what that number is) we have no evidence that the number of rapes were above or below that number.

What we do know is downvoting the discussion of this is supporting rapists. There is no denying that no matter how someone twists it. I would support a 2 state solution with an immediate ceasefire.

Went to the local courthouse the other day, it is cube-esk at the base and has 4 entrances one on each side. 3 they keep locked. The handycap accessible ramp is one of those that is locked. I couldn’t understand it, what is the point of installing the ramps if you are still going to block it off to funnel people through another door nearest the metal detectors.

Does this case not also show that they will infact say he has immunity as well unless Congress impeaches him and the Senate agrees/dismissed the person. Aka the president has immunity to do anything they want so long as one of the legislative departments will not act. Aka, they can be run by fear of death as well unless they can pass the impeachment and dismissal faster than the president can hear about it or act to stop it.

I would argue that the in person difference revolves around a lot of intimacy, and further encourages coworkers to ogle other members and increase the likelihood of sexual harassment or just office drama of coworkers now dating or having had a one night stand.

Is there a reason or way to prevent display port from having so many connection issues specifically on port replicators (docking stations)?

In corporate environments I find so many times that you plug them up over and over, unplug over and over and check the connection a million times before turning everything off one final time, holding the power button on everything (kind of like an smc reset) and then booting up everything like you originally did and they come up. Is this a result of the devices trying to remember a previous setup or is their an easy way to avoid it?

I’ve hooked up dozens of them and still ran into issues when a family member brought a setup home to work when they were sick last week.

If this was a response to write speeds they meant the speed at which data can be written to the disc, not the time ot takes to build the disc. Read/Write speeds are a standard measure used to tell whether something would be efficient to use. For example one could say storing an OS on a DVD and booting would be dumb because it would run extremely slow, where as the read speed for playing music or a movie off it wouldn’t be an issue as it doesn’t need higher performance for such.

I can tell you why, as no one here seems to have used these. These are rooms of food items with no workers. Say 10 fridges and other items like apples, bananas, coffee machines microwaves etc sitting out. You walk up, grab what you want, use what you want and then check yourself out. It would be wrong to sell any user data but they did this because they were losing money trying to staff lunch rooms. It costs less to ditch warm/cooler food, and rather balance food loss off these items who know they are being filmed and will likely be expelled from the college for stealing. An example woukd be Gulf Coast State College

Many of these were set up in areas where there are no employees as well. While some may be “vending machines” by definition many colleges and work sites installed areas with food/drink items all set up on shelves where you can go and grab what you want and then go self checkout on your own and walk off. Cameras and recognition of who is taking items without paying has been the regulating power since they were set up. Many do not accept cash, and you use a card, your phone or even set up an account using your fingerprint to grab a banana/cookies/gatoraid/ice coffee/whatever and pay quickly. The idea that they knew who you were was used to balance their costs against the number of lost/stolen items.

It is foolish to think they weren’t identifing individuals, but it would be wrong to sell the data as well.
