Hello Lemmy! My name is Schrodinger! (lemmy.world)
This 13 year old floof loves pets and running around and attacking walking feet to show how dangerous he still is in his elder years. Sometimes he’s a cantankerous old-man baby kitty and sometimes he’s the sweetest puddle of floof ever and just wants love.
Why is it called a U turn and not an n turn
Basically the title but when we do a “U” turn we actually make a small n not a U.

The main difference I've noted so far between lemming and Reddit is that in lemming people seem to know when to write it's or its.

Now no one will ever see all those super long !remindme bot posts set for 5, 10 or 15 years on Reddit
How did Lemmy.world become more popular than Lemmy.ml?
I don’t understand how Lemmy.world developers managed to surpass both Lemmy.ml and Beehaw.org instances in user activity.
So how long until the Fediverse is monetized?
I’m fairly new and don’t 100% understand it yet, but instances are run on servers that require money. Are we heading towards seeing ads or subscriptions to raise funds instead of relying on donations to cover overhead?...
Lemmy communities need a distinct one word name for communities like how reddit has "subreddits"
Part of the latest migration wave. Something I realized when looking for communities on google is that “lemmy community” is super clumsy.
Lemmy is good because it’s good
Lemmy is good right now because we're all lurkers
How do I deal with "fractured" communities?
One of the biggest issues I'm having trouble getting past with Lemmy is not knowing which communities to subscribe to....
