@olena @actuallyautistic This was once described as the "classic" difference between men and women -- though I don't think it's quite as tied to AGAB as I was originally told.

I also default to proposing actions to "fix" the issue. But, often people (me included) may want to complain/decompress/rant about an issue even after they've already solved it. They aren't after a "fix", they are after a connection: empathy or at least sympathy and maybe agreement/alignment (NOT trauma competition).
