IV Regiment of “the Great Prince Konstantin Konstantinovic“ returned from the Wars to station at four o`clock in the afternoon on the 3rd August 1913, where it was welcomed and greeted by a great number of Belgrade citizens.The regiment then went to the camp in Banjica to join the troops which paraded through the capital city, particularly ready for the official reception of the victors on the 11th August 1913.

Albanians over a victim with its throat slit, village of Velika close to Andrijevica in 28.07.1944.

On 28.07.1944. members of the 7th SS Division "Prinz Eugen" (Volksdeutchers from Yugoslavia) and 21st SS Division "Skanderbeg"(Albanians) killed, slaughtered and burned around 400 grannies, women and children over two hours, in the villages of Velika and Gornja Ržanica.

Early in the morning on the 24th March 1914 two trains arrived at the Railway station in carrying the first generation of recruits from the newly liberated regions, Old and Southern Serbia. After the official reception, the recruits headed via central city streets towards the barracks in the Upper Town of Kalemegdan Fortress.

An interesting old booklet we came across in the National Library in

Fairly simple and straightfoward rules from 1914 on how POWs were to be treated.

Issued after the start of and victories in that year, which resulted in several tens of thousands of Austro-Hungarian soldiers being taken prisoner. Some 30 000 of them would be escorted with the Serbian army through in 1915. and handed over to Italians on the coast.
