As a Canadian I think the ”crackhouse above a meth lab” joke is pretty apt. Canada is just America Light®. These jokes are especially poignant nowadays as our political landscape seems to be obsessed with doing its best American impression.

Are you able to walk? Incline walking on a treadmill burns calories very fast. All you gotta do is set the treadmill to max incline (or less, set it where you like, but the more incline the better) and just walk for a half hour or so a few times per week. The more you walk the faster you burn the fat. Sometimes when I run, I wonder why when I can burn the same amount of calories incline walking.

If you do choose to try incline walking, avoid holding the handles or the top of the panel on the treadmill. I see many people doing this. It effectively negates the incline. The whole point of incline walking is carrying your body weight up a hill. Holding a static surface and leaning back reduces the load.

Just walk as much as you feel comfortable with. You’ll notice it gets easier very quickly. Its also quite enjoyable to watch videos or listen to a podcast to pass the time.

Every bidet I’ve ever used is like this. They’re just as dirty as dry wiping, just in a different way. Like, sure; with a bidet you end up with a cleaner ass after wiping yourself dry, but you can get the same result with a wet wipe but with less collateral spray damage to your cheeks and legs (and balls if you’re a dude).

Arobas has essentially rendered old .gp# tabs obsolete as their playback on new versions of GP is broken AF. Vibrato is weird, markers are bugged, its a bummer. I’ve been on GP5 since it was released and I refuse to update regardless of how “good” the new versions are.

Does anyone have any experience with self-cleaning cat litter boxes? I’m curious if any particular model of self-cleaning litter box is any good. We now have 4 cats and it would be nice to not have to clean litter boxes manually 1-2 times every day....

I’d like to go on record and state my opinion that the old school manual scoop method is the best and easiest if you do it twice a day. Takes no more than 30 seconds each time and gives you the added benefit of actively monitoring your cat’s waste for any warning signs of digestive or urinary issues.

Having a dedicated garbage pail for litter purposes only right next to the box makes things super easy and dirt cheap.

To everyone complaining about the updates; it’s likely that after a week or so you will just get used to the new layout and won’t even think about it anymore.

Personally, I have no issues with the update. Took about 5 mins to understand the changes move on. I also welcome the true black theme. Will save a decent amount of battery on my phone.

I’d also say that it was likely a plane’s contrail. The earth is a sphere. A plane crossing into your horizon at cruising altitude would have a contrail that looks like it came directly out of the ground at 90°. Doesn’t help that you seem to have deleted your post as no one can take a look for themselves anymore.

It leans farther into “realistic” space games like Elite Dangerous and less into “fantasy” space like Star Wars. For example, planets in real life are mostly just lifeless barren rocks, as Elite and Starfield both depict.

As a realism enthusiast that is obsessed with simulations, there’s one question that needs to be asked of every game regardless of how realistic and ambitious it aspires to be: “Is it fun?”

If it’s not fun, then it’s not worth playing.

Steam did this back on WinXP in the early 2000’s as well. To be clear, OP isn’t talking about dragging a window to the very left side of the screen and it snapping in place covering half the screen. They’re referring to any sized window retaining its aspect ratio but snapping to the exact edge of any side of the screen or taskbar.
