These idiots try to follow Portugal’s example without really understanding what went on with the country during the 80s/90s. I bet it’s still not a perfect approach.

Ireland had an Amusement Park named after a bag of potato chips.

Just by looking at the number ‘4’ in print, it makes me wonder if whoever made the design is stupid or did it on purpose, and no other choice exists lol

I don’t give two cents about any of this, but here’s a thought exercise on not banning things because it gives people on the wrong side of history something to hold onto: evil and good always find a way - the people in the right side of history also had to hold on to something, be it a carnation or three fingers fucking the air. The interesting part here is that evil always lurks in the laziness or comfort of good, so taking advantage of a good thing is always the lazy evil thing to do. If we let people parade around with this shirt, be it for edginess or foulness, maybe an example should be set and not let that happen… on the other hand… back to first sentences and so on.

Perhaps letting people have the stupid shirt and catch the evil lazy fucks a while later is the way to go (uh so harsh). Perhaps ending encrypted internet and finally catching the pedos and eastern bots is the way to go. Perhaps reading everyone’s mind is how we finally catch the predators.

I don’t care, nothing is absolutely right, ban or don’t ban, but I would look for the people trying to unban it first hehe

I’d rather see the kind of tab organization found in Arc browser, but let’s take this a decade at a time.

I love Arc and I won’t change, probably even if they charge for it… I wish this wasn’t a feature only present in a Chromium derivative because it made my job much more productive and makes the move a bit difficult.

What if a meteor hit us now? What happens after that?

Not one big enough to cause another great extinction, but small enough to just turn a whole small country and parts of neighboring ones into a huge crater. Will the people who was evacuated out after NASA stated a warning try to rebuild the country after everything has settled down or do they’d become citizens of another...

Music Piracy Is Back, Baby (gizmodo.com)

“Muso, a research firm that studies piracy, concluded that the high prices of streaming services like Spotify and Apple Music are pushing people back towards illegal downloads. Spotify raised its prices by one dollar last year to $10.99 a month, the same price as Apple Music. Instead of coughing up $132 a year, more consumers...

I’m kinda waiting for this bad boy to come out so I can put into it all the songs I legally acquired all these years…

Accepting 3rd party cookies is just smoke and mirrors. Safari blocks them by default, so websites can just send data through the Webpage Javascript directly to their affiliates if they want to.

Your data is still being collected. To what extent, I don’t know.

I’m not sure if analytics and data such as browser signature can be rejected if they are considered required, but I’d be keen to know more.

Self checkouts that require the receipt barcode to open the exit door are quite alright.

It’s usually fast except for the idiots that bring their small children in there to play around with everybody else’s time.

I haven’t looked into the alternatives much, but I’ve been using AnyType because of the decentralized sync.

Joke’s on him, I like raisins and any dried fruit. Crystalized fruit, however.
