So go ahead and check what your local library offers.
My county library is decent. However, I recently discovered they also had a reciprocal deal with the next door big city public library, so I did get myself a card there too. They do have a very good selection over there, especially for DVDs and graphic novels.
I mean, the newest one looks like a commercial store. It almost smells like coffee. It has maker spaces. 3D printers you can check out. A/V booths. I don't go there as often as I should.
The dates for this year's Munin Conference on Scholarly Publishing have just been announced: online and in-person at UiT The Arctic University of Norway in Tromsø, November 26–28, 2024.
Out of 136 works, I've read 16, and most if not all were "forced" reading, i.e. had to read them for school, academia, so on. And I am at peace with that. With one or two exceptions, list is the "usual" literary titles.
