I just finished reading Batman - The Long Halloween. It is without a doubt a masterpiece. I’ve said it here before, but the duo Jeoh Loeb and Tim Sale is very very good. Sale’s drawings are very expressive and authorial. I was quite shocked by the plot twist on the last page, it was impressive. I recommend reading.

'Batman: the Long Halloween' is one of my top favorite books. I do try to reread it around Halloween when I can (though clearly you can read it anytime)

I think the headline says it all, but as article points out, these days offers more than the "classical." I will add I've been seeking out more horror these days.

Of possible interest. Personally, I'd consider the Maddow book, in part due to the topic, and in part because I've read other books by her, which I have liked.

So go ahead and check what your local library offers.

My county library is decent. However, I recently discovered they also had a reciprocal deal with the next door big city public library, so I did get myself a card there too. They do have a very good selection over there, especially for DVDs and graphic novels.

I am definitely a fan of public libraries.

Out of 136 works, I've read 16, and most if not all were "forced" reading, i.e. had to read them for school, academia, so on. And I am at peace with that. With one or two exceptions, list is the "usual" literary titles.

Hey bookish folks, I'd love your help! How do you find new-to-you books to read?

I'm trying to figure out where to advertise my books now that I have a fourth book out ( https://buy.bookfunnel.com/vxvlyi6b0v ). I'm rather unknown so can't spend big $$ but it's hard to know where is best to find readers. And yet, it's hard to have a budget without readers, too!
