Shoutouts for my favorite Chinese developed game Gunfire Reborn. Borderlands-style Roguelike that you could almost SWEAR was going to have microtransactions. But no, it's one full price + character DLCs that is just start run, shoot dudes, complete runs. It got 99% good translations and a 100% mobile port! It's completely bewildering why this game didn't get treatment on par with Hades and Dead Cells.
I like Gunfire a lot but it doesn’t have story and av comparable to Hades and doesn’t have the replayability and difficulty of Dead Cells. A better comparison would probably be Risk of Rain 2, another game with a lack of story and budget art, that isn’t as replayable as its betters, but still an enjoyable experience.
If I understand, the argument is that someone who doesn't want to be spoiled for endings should...look at a headline purported to be specifically about endings, and then read the article to see if it's about endings, which they are not going to do because there is an extraordinarily high chance it's exactly what it says it is in big letters, and any failure to voluntarily read spoilers they don't want to be spoiled for is then a failure on the part of the player?
That feels like reaching. Would rather not be mean. I think people stranded on top of zombie infested buildings whose only method of escape is a single in-use helicopter have reached less.
This is just a justification to brush off anyone who opens their mouth at all, because were there a reader who did for some reason want to click on every headline they didn't want to know about in order to make sure they shouldn't have clicked on it, that would definitely still be something that is their fault once they saw anything they shouldn't.
Even leaving aside why someone would do that, the OP made the conscious decision to post it like they did.
They could have tipped everyone off to the clickbait. They could have used a spoiler tag if they didn't bother reading it or wanted to play into the clickbait. They chose to do neither. That has nothing to do with the journalistic integrity of online gaming mags. This was a personal mistake.
I have seen communities be shockingly good about respecting this. The Hades community especially is amazing and, though the game has been out now for so many years the sequel is nearing completion, they'd probably still just give you what bare advice they have to based on your current status and tell you to keep playing because "trust me."
I don't know why the bg3 community wants to pretend it's impossible and out of their hands, while swearing it shouldn't matter anyway. It very well is, and for a game this stunning, it absolutely does.

Sug min importerade balle.
When Pope Paul III heard that Michelangelo had finished the top part of the wall and was removing scaffolding, he came immediately to see the progress. His reaction was to fall to his knees and pray. The Pope’s Master of Ceremonies, Biagio da Cesena, had also come to view The Last Judgement, and his reaction was to call it disgraceful! Da Cesena thought the multitude of nudes were sacrilegious, and he predicted that the wall would someday be destroyed.
Pope Paul III was astonished and angry, and he said that he’d excommunicate anyone who touched the wall.
Almost immediately, Michelangelo had an assistant stucco the lower right corner of the wall, and he painted da Cesena as Minos, the judge of Hades. Word got back to da Cesena and he demanded another visit, with the Pope in tow. Here, I quote from Irving Stone:
“You see, Holy Father,” cried the Master of Ceremonies, “the report was true. Buonarroti has painted me into the fresco. With some kind of repulsive serpent for my genitalia.”
“It’s a covering,” replied Michelangelo. “I knew you would not want to be portrayed wholly naked.”

I’ve been hooked on “God of weapons”, recently. Pretty good rng auto combat meets slim downed “Hades”, worth a look and the dev seems to be looking for feedback.
They don’t want to compromise battery in favor of performance and I agree. With smaller games like Hades or cult of the lamb my steam deck battery will last and last. On more demanding games like cyberpunk or Armored Core I get a little over an hour out of it best case scenario.
Beefier graphics hardware will only make that issue worse.
I so often use mine plugged in as I’m not walking or in a park, I’m on a bus or train which can often have a plug, so not much of an issue there, however I’m not playing high-end games, it’s so good for stuff like Hades and whatnot.
So i just noticed that when i really like the game at some point i will at once play the game and watch the stream/youtube wideo of the game( usualy speedrun or aome hardcore challenge). I noticed it recently with anno 1800 but now that i think about it i did that with tales of arise, eu4 ,kings bounty, total war, hades and...
That moment in Hades when after innumerable long-ass treks through the underworld you think you've finally beaten Hades and then it turns out now you have to beat super-Hades...
That's true, but again, I think they're going to run into more resistance with development time as they upgrade their hardware and the art assets have to rise to meet the new spec and the new audience expectation. Those Wii U ports had the benefit of being ports, which is a situation that will never happen again. Since basically no one played the Wii U, it was more like a machine gun fire of games for the Switch that already had the hardest part done. Also, unlike any time in history except for the lifespan of the PSP, there are real alternative options for handheld gaming now as we head into this new Switch successor, which probably doesn't affect anyone buying the machine for Pokemon in hell or high water, but it will have an impact on the buyer who just wants to play Hades or Doom in bed or on a road trip and now has that many fewer reasons to buy Nintendo's console over a more open platform.

True, but they still had to develop these games initially for WiiU, only for them to bomb there. And the WiiU was an eighth gen console.

If the rumours of backwards compatibility are to be believed, the Switch 2 could just straight up sell Switch games with Switch 2 enhancement patches. Something very similar was shown to developers with BoTW running at 60fps at 4k on Switch 2, and such a patch is known to exist for Pokemon Scarlet and Violet.
It won't have the same newness factor of the WiiU ports, but it will allow Nintendo's evergreen titles to keep that status until the Switch 2 iteration.

You mean the Steam Deck and clones? I don't mean to burst your bubble, but the least janky of these units has you scouring ProtonDB to check a games compatibility with the unit, and community notes on what to enter into the advanced run commands section or on rare occasions, even what Linux commands to run.
And that's the least janky option. The Steam Deck clones are worse, as at least the SD had the good grace to use an operating system designed for that specific hardware and form factor. Yeah. Switch 2 is pretty safe.
but it will have an impact on the buyer who just wants to play Hades or Doom in bed or on a road trip and now has that many fewer reasons to buy Nintendo's console over a more open platform.
You honestly think they're going to put up with any kind of SD/clone jank?
Looking for more games like Pokemon TCG for Gameboy or Slay the Spire. Games that are in essence TCG but aren't caught up with simulating the gambling of opening packs.
if you want a tabletop experience similar to that, find a Living Card Game (LCG) that speaks to you. Generally they’re designed like tcgs but you buy an entire box at a time and play that as its own contained experience, those tend to be great. Other options are finding discord servers for playing something like Magic/Pokemon over Cockatrice or Untap.in or some other virtual tabletop, that way you can get the play experience of a tcg without needing to engage with its economy at all
Lastly, I know you can probably google “games like slay the spire” and find Monster Train or Across the Obelisk and be pretty satisfied with those but in a broader sense, look into roguelike games. The gameplay loop of roguelikes i’ve found scratches a similar “buildcraft” itch to something like an MtG draft, and while they arent card games I get a lot of the same fun of finding and exploring synergies from games like The Binding of Isaac, Hades, Wizard of Legend, or Risk of Rain 2
MonoGame has the advantage of being used to ship a number of indie hits, though. Supergiant still uses an in-house fork of it for their games, if I’m not mistaken (ed. I guess they rewrote their engine for Hades).

I hade the same issue recently when I tried jellyfin server on my windows PC. In my case the private/public Windows Firewall setting was not successful.
But what helped was to open the windows firewall settings and to allow jellyfin do access the privat/public network. You can access the setting by opening the “allowed apps” section in the windows firewall settings.
