@neilhimself If you can answer, can you please say the budget for sandman per ep? since google shows 15m an ep and you refuted that. And did S2 budget go up a lot? estimates are fine. Thank you.
Mah juxtaposes the petrochemical industry’s destructive corporate worldviews with environmental justice struggles in the US, China, and Europe: multiscalar activism—a form of collective resistance that spans local, regional, national, and planetary sites and scales and addresses the interconnected issues of #EnvironmentalJustice, #climate, #pollution, health, extraction, land rights, workers’ rights, systemic #racism, and toxic #colonialism
I have not read this yet but looks like a LOT of resonance with #OilBeach. "Most large petrochemical facilities are located in coastal regions, near to ports, for access to shipping lines. Tightly enclosed behind security gates, they resemble cities with tall towers and giant cylindrical storage tanks. They flare and steam and crackle. How do these petrochemical plants relate to the ports? How are they regulated? Who are the main global corporate players? Who are the biggest polluters?"
@Ajo1322 Final Fantasy 7, technically. But if we're talking actual PS2 titles, Silent Hill 2. I remember watching the opening cutscene and then wondering why it was taking so long, not realizing that it had seamlessly transitioned to gameplay. Damn those graphics were good for the time.
In medieval London, everyone from kings to peasants ate eels. But by the 19th C eels had largely become a street food.
In 1851, London imported 9.8 million live eels per year (mostly from Holland). 70% went to street vendors selling hot buttered eels in poorer parts of the city. #eels#medieval#history#london
Yesterday was my first bigger "party" since self-diagnosis. It was a work event. After 2h, I was overloaded and in danger of getting a migraine. Could prevent with sugary drinks. After 4h, I got cranky but my ride wanted to go home, too.
Today, I have a social hungover. Luckily, we got the day off.
I am glad that I went, but the next time I try to recruit more of "my" people because everyone sticks to their team mates there, not so much mingling. #ActuallyAutistic 1/2
In the past, I would have been angry with myself for getting almost sick and being so overloaded. Now I know this is because of my #autism, because of how my brain is, that my senses are not deprived like with neurotypical people. It's pretty wild that they enjoy talking while loud music is played simultaneously and the surrounding is so busy.
(I was a bit ashamed of not washing my hands with soap, but its smell almost made me vomit. Sometimes it's small things, too.) #actuallyautistic 2/2
I've seen a few accounts on Mastodon that have the hashtag #ActuallyAutistic and I'm a bit confused. Does it convey a different message compared to having an #Autistic hashtag?
