For the last few months our team has been working on an entirely automated AI-powered news site. I am excited to announce that v1.0 is finally being released. This version includes full coverage with every article generated from 2 left leaning, 2 right leaning, and 2 neutral sources. We have also added an anonymous commenting system for people to share their opinions freely. Our servers are now running 24/7 so that new articles appear as they happen! Let me know what you guys think, as well as any comments/concerns/questions you have!
You posted this to programmerhumor, am I to assume this site is satire? The site doesn't look like it, so if I'm taking you at face value, I couldn't disagree any harder about your mission. What makes you think anyone wants "2 right leaning" sources? Breitbart, OANN, Newsmax, New York Post, and Fox News are all pushing fascism narratives, to say nothing of the mockery you are making of professional journalism. You gonna start writing articles with them as your sources?
Recently decided to try out @bookwyrm as a GoodReads replacement. It's refreshingly modern, with an effective import tool to bring my library over.
I don't have much of a network there, but then I didn't really use the GoodReads social features. My user over there is @YouNaughtyMonsters (thanks Iain M Banks!)
Oh I see, oops. Sorry for tagging you then. I also just realised that bookwyrm is a different thing from Lemmy, but just on the fediverse as well, so my link does not make sense in any way
Explore eerie dungeons, encounter menacing creatures, and solve puzzles in this indie 2D #pixelart#horror#adventure game. Are you brave enough to face the nightmares? Wishlist now and prepare for a spine-tingling experience!
@PersistentDreamer@gaming@gaming@gaming its been a beautiful mess working with them. People have egos, and games are sort of art by committee... Feelings were sometimes hurt, painful cuts made. It's been a fun year and a half but it's been tough too!
I'll be making sure they see your compliment right now, cuz it really does mean alot to all of us. Thanks!
I've been checking out a ton of PICO-8 games lately. One of my fav things that some game devs do is unlimited lives.
I get the whole "3 strikes and you're out" in baseball, and sometimes in life, but like... I don't want to die, I want another chance. Let me try again and again! (In games & life.)
I did see a game where it gave you 100 lives, and that's cool too, because you know what? We all screw up sometimes.
99 more chances to get it right is still pretty good.
I see limited lives as a design relic from the arcade era. You needed limited lives to extract more quarters from players, but we're pretty far from that necessity these days.
Treat the first line of you post as the title. You can see that your whole post, including hashtags, is on one line, and so creates a large messy title over here.
Keep hashtags out of the title as they create links that are messy
The next lines are treated as the body of the post … you can put everything else here including hashtags (which will work well) etc.
If you want to tag anyone else, make sure to tag them after the lemmy community, as lemmy only pays attention to the first tag (which is a measure to prevent spam)
I wrote a little demo of what works here: hachyderm.io/@maegul/110483509521476095
Otherwise … really appreciate the effort to try to bridge these two spaces!
Wow!!!
I just got back from visiting my bestie and I checked on the new hashtag notifications and wow!
Thanks sooooo much for sharing so many #Gaming posts with our tag! I really appreciate it. 😊
Sorry for the late boosts and I hope I didn't miss any...
Have a fabulous day everyone 🎮 ♥ 🕹
My feed is now all those interesting people, places, & publications that I followed on #Instagram over the years reacting & replying to celebrities & brands like Dunkin Donuts and fucking Paris Hilton.
Or worse, seeing celebrities & brands replying to each other.
@renwillis I got on Threads for like 10 mins and immediately noped out. I couldn't put my finger on why I hated it so much, and didn't care enough to waste the brain space to figure it out. You managed to encapsulate what I was feeling perfectly in your write up.
