Help me out please, I’m looking for songs about disability or musicians with a disability where the disability influences their art. Possibly for a thing.

Does feddit.de work?

Good morning everyone, we noticed that feddit.de has been unreachable since last night (server error). But how come I from Mastodon or Lemmy.ml can find some messages published this morning? Maybe the problem is only with the web server? While can you still connect via the app?
Can anyone give me an explanation?

Duke_Nukem_1990 ,

the frontend has been borked for months. We pretty much all switched to feddit.org

Dirk ,
@Dirk@lemmy.ml avatar

The front-end is pretty much broken since a few months and there seems to be no admin with either the knowledge, the permissions, or the time to fix it. Federation seems to work, though. As well as the API for apps, but all, most, a lot of feddit.de communities moved to feddit.org with same name.

Here’s all you need to know: GoodRx is offered for free to consumers. They regularly have better prices for drugs than the product that consumers are paying for.

Also, Cost Plus Drugs exists where they operate as a PBM, but refuse insurance. They clearly tell you their markup. I have yet to find a drug that’s not cheaper there.

Painful and counter productive politics surrounding the MMT conference. For gear heads, the paper he would have presented is available in the article.

“A major criticism of MMT by its real enemies—again, Neoclassical economists, not yours truly—is that no MMTer has ever presented a mathematical model of MMT. Minsky generates those equations, which were also part of this paper”

Mosler’s reaction, to demand Keen to be disinvited and the disinvitation, is a mistake that should be corrected for the future

“I was going to ignore the 5% I criticise to help the 95% I support—and if you’re an “MMTer” and you doubt these proportions, ask yourself whether you’d still be an activist for MMT if the only thing it asserted was that “Imports are real benefits and exports are real costs”? (Mosler 2010, p. 59)”

Since upgrading from Plasma 6.0 to Plasma 6.1 my journald.service takes a longtime to boot.
systemd-journald.service takes 7-8 seconds.
Even on a freshly installed system.

systemd-analyze:

Startup finished in 9.534s (firmware) + 6.112s (loader) + 3.281s (kernel) + 9.271s (userspace) = 28.200s

systemd-analyze critical-chain systemd-journald.service:

systemd-journald.service +7.853s
└─systemd-journald.socket @428ms

systemd-analyze blame:

7.853s systemd-journald.service
2.152s systemd-modules-load.service
1.147s \x2esnapshots.mount
715ms NetworkManager.service
229ms dev-nvme1n1p2.device

how can I now further troubleshoot and maybe find a solution? has someone experienced same/similar?
I can provide further info if needed, would appreciate very much if someone has an idea...

Edit: after working through it I came to the conclusion, that maybe Plasma isn‘t the issue here (since the „error“ happens way before graphical ui shows up), but more kernel related. Trying right now to get an older kernel running to see, if it confirms my assumption, but failed yet to do so…

Varen OP ,

@tal
Did exactly that before posting and posted the output:

systemd-analyze critical-chain systemd-journald.service:

systemd-journald.service +7.853s
└─systemd-journald.socket @428ms

Varen OP ,

@tal i found today 3-4 other persons having same or similar issues (one on the bugtracker github of systemd and 3 others on the archlinux forums) starting around the same time (in the last 2-3 weeks).

I dont think its Plasma related (which comes in later on boot I think) but maybe Kernel based - since others started having similar issue around the same time?

Might be related to some usb devices, but if i‘m not alone having ir!?
