uninstalled it today, it’s really a gameplay downgrade from cs:go and that wasn’t my fav cs by far.
really shitty that they basically took cs:go away too. yeah, I dig the levels and lighting and crosshairs but otherwise the experience, both multiplayer and even bot practice gameplay was pretty meh.
Not there yet, but the odds are good that it’s gonna return as soon as they’re finished fixing the game. For the old Workshop you can switch to the csgo beta branch.
A home console only slightly more powerful than the Deck (as reported) would be a flop. It would be less powerful than the PS4. People will be plugging this into 4k 120hz TVs.
I’d be very surprised if it was a home console unless they have some kind of magic upscaling they’ve built into Proton.
Some 32" TVs are 4k, 99% of 43"+ TVs are 4k. Most people can afford them because they are very cheap. Usually 90Hz, mostly 100Hz, sometimes 120 or 150Hz
If they manage to put in a 7600 class GPU and sell the whole thing for under $500, it would be a winner. You could build a PC like that, so given the economies of scale, that should be doable.
I didn't expect the Lemmy privacy mindset to go so far; competitor analysis is a thing in business, and when you aggregate such data you can also analyse industry trends and your business's position in it. I don't see why it's a boundary?
If a game costs what I'm willing to pay for it, I buy it, if it doesn't, I check G2A, if still not, wishlist and wait for sale. They can do what they like with prices but I've got my pain limit.
Apart from From Software stuff, I will buy all of those.
I don’t know for sure in this case, but it’s often that some license was time-limited. You might license the music for x-years, or get a license to distribute some third-party software library with your game. With the license time-period runs out the publisher either has to pay to renew the license or stop selling the game. In either case, people who bought get to keep what they have.
Very likely a license problem, with the Games Workshop not renewing the W40K license for HeroCraft (the game developers). I hope not too many recent games actually get unlisted from Steam because of music licensing issues, when a simple solution would be to remove said music in a patch.
