You may have come across Decronym on the aliensite, especially in the spaceflight communities; it picks up on comments that contain acronyms (that are in its database), and drops a helpful top-level comment on the thread that it keeps up to date as more acronyms get used....

I was logged into my Cloudflare account today attempting to setup Tunnels when I noticed various security events related to my domain. Upon further inspection I realized that they all originated from a Microsoft Owned IP address (I’m assuming somebody running a Azure VM instance)....

Hey everyone, I’m pretty new to this, I’ve only been running Jellyfin on my laptop for media but nothing 24/7. Honestly, it’s not bad and I like it better than paying a thousand different streaming services. I also have some experience with Linux so this seems like a pretty fun hobby I’d say :)...

While it was an interesting and sometimes confusing experience setting up and running my own Lemmy instance (looking at you, 20 character limit on federation URL), I think it's not worth it....

I am building up a selfhosted homelab after a few years of building up services on a single old desktop computer that I bought for $300. I had installed Ubuntu on it, and upgraded the RAM, etc and basically just used Docker to stand-up various services that all of you would be familiar with....

Do you host all services just from your root account with docker or do you seperate the services between user accounts with rootless docker?...
