I’m thinking of either self-hosting LanguageTool or buying the premium version. What’s the pros and cons of each decision?...

I’ve always hated the idea of using a subscription/cloud hosting for password management. I feel like I should have a LOT more control over that stuff and I don’t really want to hand all my keys over to a company....

Does anyone use the self hosted version of psono password manager? The demo looks very nice, however it seems to be very niche and it is rarely recommended. It appears in the “awesome selfhosted” repo, though....

So, while this is not exactly a typical "self-hosting" question as many users might not be using domains, I would be curious if anyone else has any experience with this....

Two days ago, I deployed the official wiki for lemmy.dbzer0.com. It’s using django-wiki as a software, which other than being markdown-based and therefore helping lemmings easily migrate documentation over, provides python hooks for doing some really cool stuff....

Serves mainly as a NAS, but also as the host for Plex, HomeAssistant and some other stuff.

The most requested feature for Immich has just been implemented by this guy!...

Just a hint for people searching a tiny selfhosted messenger with encryption and apps for iOS and android.
