Is there a way to have this checked by default? (Authelia) (i.imgur.com)
Since over 90% percent of the time I’m on a personal device, I would rather have this on by default, and only specifically uncheck if I’m on a public device....

I REALLY want to get away from using all Microsoft products. My spouse and I use Linux but not for our kids just simply because I have yet to find anything that does what Microsoft Family does - being able to remotely set time limits, keep an eye on screen time stats, block websites and apps remotely, see what websites they've...
Hoping someone has news on the rumored DS1823+....
At the moment i use a super hacky and unstable setup where multiple instances of everything in ETP server mode run under a windows core VM, and when it works, it works fine. But sometimes it stops updating the index, sometimes it just crashes, sometimes serves the wrong db, and so on....
Hi, I run a few game servers but I kind of need to back them up while they are running, is there something suitable.
I’ve been considering the idea of hosting my own instance of Lemmy, solely for my own use, maybe with 1 or 2 family members using it as well. I’ve seen several discussions regarding the requirements for system resources, but not much regarding bandwidth. I have an abundance of processing power, memory, and storage space in...
Hey guys!...
I am building up a selfhosted homelab after a few years of building up services on a single old desktop computer that I bought for $300. I had installed Ubuntu on it, and upgraded the RAM, etc and basically just used Docker to stand-up various services that all of you would be familiar with....
I haven’t really posted a lot to r/selfhosted (or Reddit in general), but whenever I did, there was always someone who voted my post down in less than 30 minutes after it was posted. Maybe because of this (or maybe because they were actually perceived as low quality posts), these posts never received a lot of engagement with...

Hi,...
How do you set up a server? Do you do any automation or do you just open up an SSH session and YOLO? Any containers? Is docker-compose enough for you or are you one of those unicorns who had no issues whatsoever with rootless Podman? Do you use any premade scripts or do you hand craft it all? What distro are you building on top...
Using JuiceSSH on my phone, I'm able to connect to my device without any problems when I'm on my home Wi-Fi. However, when off WiFi and connected to my VPN, the server doesn't connect. I'm still able to access the services it's running, but can't SSH into the server itself....
Come on and fight me…...
As r/selfhosted seems to have shutdown due to the reddit api changes (rip), I wanted to see if anyone has worked with these services before?...
Hi All,...
Edit: YOOOOOOOO YOU CAN EDIT TITLES HERE...
I set up a self-hosted instance yesterday, so far it runs fine. I can subscribe from there to communities hosted on other instances, I can comment from my instance and the comments show up on other instances....
Apologies if this post ain’t right for this community! I’m admittedly not interested in self-hosting myself, but I’ve a close buddy who’s wanting to get back to streaming, but rightfully hates Amazon. He’s wanting to self-host with Owncast to do video streaming with his pals, but lives in a very small flat with very...
I want to use Linkwarden to backup websites I find but I can’t afford a subscription right now. What’s the easiest way to selfhost it on my desktop pc (windows) that will keep it updated and working without having to mess with it or do a bunch of command line stuff?
I want to share a self-hosted tool I developed. It’s a NUT monitoring tool similar to webNUT but it has some additional features like:...
I’m about to start hosting an OpenCTI instance for work and was looking for advice on pretty much everything. I’m new to self hosting and was wondering if anyone had any advice or helpful guides (storage space, config tips, etc)....
I have a small self hosted setup at home with a RaspberryPi and an external HDD, just enough for what I need....
I’ve been self-hosting email with Maddy for a bit, but haven’t shared any of the addresses widely yet in part because I haven’t set up a spam filter. I’m pleased with Maddy; there’s much less to learn to get a server up and running with sane default behavior than with the email software of old....
