However, I am now looking for a registrar that supports dynamic dns and would love to hear your suggestions. The first results that pop up are google and godaddy...

Day 2 here, and I can see the growth already. Is anyone currently self hosting an Anytype backup node? In case you don’t know, Anytype is a privacy focused, local first note app. Can be found in anytype.io. Their docs give informartion on how to self host. I only have a laptop, so I’m trying to create a node in a VirtualBox VM, using Vagrant to automate box creation and...
My server (fedora) stops all podman containers after 2-3 hours since 3 days. I can start all containers again, and the same happens after a while. I do not know where to look for the problem....
Hey all!...
Hello there,...
Where I live wireguard and openvpn are completely blocked and my isp doesn’t provide a public ip....
For self-hosting though, the project I work on - Snikket - uses XMPP but has all the nice modern things you’d expect ready to go right out of the box, more like a Matrix (Synapse/Element) setup. Probably the biggest thing missing for Snikket right now is an official web app (we currently have Android and iOS apps)....
I already fear that this may be a bit too specific since it’s a bit of a niche need, but here goes:...
I’ve been using pCloud to back up only the most important information. The stuff that’s hard to get back if something bad happens. Kept in sync with rclone....

I am somewhat late into the Linux-verse (three years in now) and want to move into self-hosting to do two things:...
I found an av1-labeled version of a TV show on Sonarr, so I downloaded it, replacing my previous 264 version. I started to play it and realized it was a smaller 264 version....
