So what can we do to combat this Spam posting as a community? Anyone have any ideas?
There have been multiple accounts created with the sole purpose of posting advertisement posts or replies containing unsolicited advertising.
Accounts which solely post advertisements, or persistently post them may be terminated.

I’m looking into different self hosted open source multiuser password safes and while there are many options I haven’t found one with a .deb or .rpm install - only a whole bunch of docker compose....
I’m selfhosting several services, mostly based on docker containers. Many of these are managed on Github and publish releases there. What annoys me is that I regularly miss updates....

ive anabled a port forward on port 80 (TCP/UDP) to my server, but i still cant acess it. i know its unsafe to just open a port like that, this is temporary, just wanna see if it works. ill put a reverse proxt and https on it later

I run a load of containers on a NAS, and reverse proxy them through synology’s inbuilt reverse proxy settings....

I’m planning out my next homelab when I move soon. I have the floor plans and it looks like the best place for my computer is not centrally located, so the Wi-Fi won’t be ideal. I’d like to run the cables a short distance so the router would be in a better spot....
My RJ45 standard a cable broke. I tried fixing it in but i cant align the clolored wires properly , because they all turn and twist when i try to put them into the clear plastic thing....

Hello! I need a guide on how to migrate data from shared hosting to Docker. All the guides I can find are about migrating docker containers though! I am going to use a PaaS - Caprover which sets up everything. Can I just import my data into the regular filesystem or does the containerisation have sandboxed filesystems? Thanks!

Hi everyone, I host a server with few services running for my family and friends. The server freezes sometimes. Where the services stop responding. If I try to ssh into the server, it takes a lot of time (3 to 5 mins) for it to connect. After being connected, every letter I type takes 2 to 3 mins to appear on screen....
