It's hard learning you're living with a disability and didn't even know. And you don't know anyone else IRL that has the disability. So there's always this nagging impostor syndrome of "maybe I'm not really disabled", or this uneasy feeling like you have no feedback if you're living disabled life "right" or something. #ActuallyAutistic
@arcadetoken And for me as a then 68yr old, discovering my autistic self; now nearly 70.
But, we aren't alone. We have a whole online community with which to compare ourselves. We all find similarities with other Autists, and AuDHDers, and ADHDers. #Neurodiversity@actuallyautistic
