You can append (intext:“modlog” & “instances” & “docs” & “code” & “join lemmy”) to your search query to search through all Lemmy instances. Works with Google, Startpage, SearX.

Rolls off the tongue, doesn’t it?

I just have it setup as custom search engine in my browser, so it automatically appends it when I type l <my search query>.

There’s fedi-search.com that searches the biggest instances.

Izzgo ,

Bookmarked, thank you.

Tywele ,

There is www.search-lemmy.com if you are inclined to use a dedicated website.

It’s useless unless you use the default selected lemmy.world instance. Returns no results for others.

BheemanRaghu ,

At least they made Lemmy world default now, previous default setting was useless

What is the difference between kbin and Lemmy?

notasandwich1948 ,

kbin is one of the different Lemmy instances

jcg ,

That’s incorrect. Lemmy is one of the kbin instances.

So why can’t I login into jerboa mobile app with kbin.social credentials but I can with Lemmy.world credentials ?
