Yeah I’m just going to go out and vent my frustration to the void in witnessing the past weeks of carnage:

Maybe… Just fucking maybe if you’re going to pretend you hold the moral high ground in all this, especially with the backdrop of being an oppressed culture & ethnicity… Maybe you DON’T send 500lb bombs onto alleged targets full of concentrated civilians…?

As if saying, “but Hamas is using them as human shields!” justifies just blasting them all. Israel has a choice and the choice they’ve made makes them no better, if not worse, than Hamas themselves. It says more about the group espousing the moral high-ground and willingness to cause widespread collateral damage including the killing of children than the hostage taker themselves.

You know you’re fucked up when even Robert McNamara would disagree with your approach, who in the Fog of War documentary noted, “Proportionality should be a guideline to war.”

In all of this, Israel has caused massive suffering to innocent populations on a scale nowhere proportional to the original attack. In fact, this is true going as far back as records permit.

I’m so fucking sick of this shit.

There are only a select few news outlets who’ve had the real courage to report the truth, and in particular I really appreciate PBS NewsHour’s coverage of this.
