People might be a little confused about the headline. It’s not suggesting that everyone should be able to watch executions, it’s saying that the media is not being allowed to observe like they should, which means Georgia can hide any malfeasance.

I don’t think capital punishment should be legal. It is cruel and certainly unusual in the Western world, making it unconstitutional, and a state simply shouldn’t be allowed the power of life and death over its citizenry. But if you are going to have it, accountability should be absolutely required.
