After I left high school they let every single beloved teacher go and replaced them all with lower paid ones. The next budget meeting someone from the community asked them why the SI got a pay raise of $15k but they ended the meeting without an answer this was 10 years ago and now the position is nearly matched with the high schools entire budget…
