US admits it did not give Iraq notice of strikes despite earlier claims

The United States has admitted it did not notify the Iraqi government before its recent air strikes in the country after a top White House official claimed Baghdad had been informed in advance.

Iraq, like every country in the region, understood that there would be a response after the deaths of our soldiers. As for this specific response on Friday, there was not a pre-notification,” Patel told reporters. “We informed the Iraqis immediately after the strikes occurred.”

The clarification came after White House National Security Council spokesman John Kirby on Friday said that Washington had informed the Iraqi government in advance.

Kirby said on Monday that he had responded to reporters’ questions with the “information that I had been provided at the time”.

“It was not as specific as it could have been, and I regret any confusion caused,” he said.

Who fucking cares. Bombs those fucks into oblivion. The entire axis from Iran to the Houthis and everyone Iran invests in to create terror should be obliterated. Those people deserve freedom not Islamist bullshit.

ETA. Bunch of terror supporting assholes around here. Fuck Iran, fuck the Houthis and fuck anyone Iran and Qatar are funding, including the ten + billion dollars dumped into the US university system.

Nudding ,

Hahaha

You think America is bringing them freedom!?

S_204 ,

Who said anything about freedom? I’m just talking about destroying the Axis of terrorists that Iran is funding. If the Yemenis achieve freedom after the Houthis are gone that’s a wonderful benefit to the world.

I’m not saying bomb people to gain them freedom… the people they’re terrorizing will clearly be better off once the bombs have reigned and the terrorists are gone. I’m saying bomb those fucking terrorists into oblivion. They made their beds, now they’ll be blown up in them. So it goes.

Perfect example here would be the gazans. Once Hamas is obliterated, they’ll have a chance to rebuild. Until then they’re just fucked eternally and none of the retarded ass protests mean a damn thing.

    Madison420 ,

Yes because a power vacuum always ends up well… Legit have you thought this out uhhh at all?

    S_204 ,

You’re actually not paying attention or what? This entire time the conversation has included a deradicalization program along the lines of Germany and Japan.

    Madison420 ,

You’re ignoring the power vacuum. No one is going to do your grand plan, they’re going to seize power from a vacuum like history has shown us time and time again.

    S_204 ,

History has proven the idea works. Japan and Germany are both examples. A power vacuum happens if there’s simply a ceasefire. Once Hamas is wiped out, and the Arab coalition of the Abraham accord steps in ( with massive profits for themselves of course as seen by the billions that have been used for terror rather than to help Arabs) there’s absolutely the opportunity to rebuild without the religious based hatred corrupt orgs like UNRWA have been pushing. SA, UAE and a handful of others have changed the level of Anti semitism drastically in the few shorts years since normalizing relations. This is possible, it’s just not possible when the goal of the Pan Arabian caliphate is being pushed by bad actors. Hamas, the Houthis and the IRGC all need to get gone for it to happen and the world should be cheering for that regardless of the Israel Palestine situation.

    Madison420 ,

No it hasn’t, stfu with your dipshit propaganda.

    S_204 ,

FFS you people are pathetic. You’re the type to watch AI generated news and believe it.

    microsoft.com/…/iran-surges-cyber-enabled-influen…

You’re probably the kind that thinks Microsoft is a Zionist controlled company though so don’t let things like fucking reality get in the way of your bigotry.

    Madison420 ,

Way to jump to wildly illogical conclusions and ad hominem. Thanks for proving you’re a shitty person.

    S_204 ,

Oh, sad boy sad he’s fallen for the bullshit flying around. Boo hoo. Projecting your ignorance, claiming others have fallen for propaganda while spouting the Islamist lies of Iran doesn’t make the person pointing it out shitty, it shows that you’re just stupid.

    Madison420 ,

I haven’t spouted anything let alone “islamist lies” lol. Get a grip dumb dumb.

    Nudding ,

Tell us how you really feel, tough guy.

    S_204 ,

I feel great, had a great night sleep.

Thanks for answering my question lmao

Have you seen how Afghanistan turned out? We are not going to give anyone freedom I’m the middle east.

    skeeter_dave ,

Afghanistan had the same access to intelligence and more hardware support we gave Ukraine. The Afgani people actively choose the Taliban as opposed to fighting them.

So instead we should take the “bomb the fuck out of everything and let god sort it out” approach the Israelis have been taking in Gaza?

    deaf_fish ,

I think the number of Afghan people willing to get flattened by airplanes leaving the country is a good indication that most Afghanistan people were not interested in Taliban leaders.

I think the US (or any country for that matter) is just incapable of installing a government in the Middle East that isn’t going to be filled with weak grifters and corruption.

    S_204 ,

Yup, every single place Islamists have taken power has turned into a shit hole.

This is why it’s absolutely critical that Iran and it’s proxies are destroyed.

    deaf_fish ,

I think your analysis is missing something. It’s not islamists that are the problem (any more than any religion is). It’s that the US is a destabilizing force in the Middle East. As long as we have our fingers over there people are going to be pissed about it and do wacky stuff like fund terrorist organizations.

If the US and Iran switched places. I guarantee you we’d be doing the same thing.

Don’t let your religious bigotries give you brainworms.

    S_204 ,

I don’t know if it’s religion as much as my direct personal experience with the IRGC. Iran is the destabilizing force in the region, their intent on spreading Islam has caused thousands upon thousands to die. The US acting to counter that causes problems without question but without them… well the goals of the Islamists pushing for the pan arabian caliphate wouldn’t have anything standing in their way.

When it comes down to the US vs Islamism…bomb the fucking shit out of every Islamist motherfucker there is ime. They’re a curse on humanity.

As long as Outkast is still rocking bombs over Baghdad I’ll be just fine.

Haha, yeah! Fuck all the millions of innocent civilians and their children living there!

    S_204 ,

80% approval in the strip. The innocent people deserve freedom of course. Hamas has made it impossible thru their strategy to differentiate, the blood is on their hands. This is the tragedy of war.
