Yeah, I will say that you wouldn’t even get this attempt to look like they’re doing the right thing out of any Republican administration. Democratic elected officials will only do the right thing when they don’t have any other options, Republicans will just double down on the wrong thing when they get called on it because “own teh libs!” is their only policy platform anymore.
